I am an actress, performer, writer and educator in Brazil - brazilian. I live in Sorocaba, a city in the State of Sao Paulo and I have a duo performance platform with my friend and art partner Daia Moura since 2014, named Cunhãntã - wich means in old tupi "strong woman". We research and create about the relations between work-body; free time-machine time; and we investigate new possibilities of relating to work being artists and woman, me a white woman and Daia a black woman.

Her distinct aesthetic is informed by training as a Fine Art Painter (Wimbledon School of Art) by traversing East and West and artistic disciplines. She is the leading UK specialist in Butoh and also specializes in costume design and performance. Since 1990 Festival Theaterformen has presented a variety of contemporary theatre productions in the German cities of Braunschweig and Hanover: everything from huge spectacles to intimate chamber plays, classical drama, documentary theatre, site-specific performances and multimedia installations. Over the years the festival has continually reinvented, reoriented and repositioned itself, and theatre productions from outside of Europe make up a considerable part of the programme. Many projects are commissioned specially for Festival Theaterformen, or made possible through co-productions.

I'm a theater practitioner interested in all forms and mediums of theater. My academic specialization is in early modern theater practices, and my practical interests include the theater of language and shared experience, translation, adaptation, and oral interpretation.

I am currently completing my MA degree in Performance Studies at Aberystwyth University, Wales.

I look back at previous performances I have been involved with and begin to see my pattern of work. I enjoy looking at the art of the everyday in people and their surroundings.
