I am a theater director and the first chairperson of Can.Act e.V., a non-profit association dedicated to supporting artists in challenging circumstances. Originally from Moscow, I moved to Berlin in 2022 due to political persecution for my pro-Ukrainian stance.
I have a rich background in classic drama, having trained in Russia, and have further honed my skills in physical theater with renowned companies such as Troubleyn/Jan Fabre, etc.
In Germany, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with prominent theaters like Volksbühne, Radialsystem, and HAU. I’ve also participated in festivals such as the Performing Arts Festival and Transmediale/CTM/Vorspiel.
My work blends these diverse influences to create powerful, socially relevant performances that challenge norms and inspire audiences.
