Elizabeth Hess is a performer, playwright, director and arts educator who has taught acting principally at New York University (NYU) and internationally in master classes and workshops. Her company, The Hess Collective, generates original work based on a hybrid approach to embodied performance.

My research explores personal stories from people whose voices may have been marginalised or overlooked and from the difference that hearing these stories can make in policy, practice and daily life for both teller and listener.
