I am a female theatre artist and have been involved with theatre for almost 30 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts and I attended The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. I am an actress, director, costume designer, sound designer and now a co-founder of a female-focused theatre company called The Rising Phoenix Theatre Company located here in Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

Soy una creadora e investigadora escénica peruano-española. Vivo en Madrid desde 1990. He formado parte de Magia Teatro de Grupo en Lima y de Palique Cuenteros en Madrid, que fundé junto a tres compañeras. De forma independiente he creado varios "solos" como cuentera y actriz. Marie-Gabrielle Rotie is an artist working with live performance. Her distinct aesthetic is informed by training as a Fine Art Painter (Wimbledon School of Art) by traversing East and West and artistic disciplines. She is the leading UK specialist in Butoh and also specializes in costume design and performance. Since 1994 she has toured and created over 30 productions: UK touring venues include Trinity Laban who have commissioned six stage productions since 2006, The Place Theatre for which she has staged nine productions and the Royal Opera House.
