FLIPT – Intercultural Festival Laboratory of Theatre Practise, organized by Teatro Potlach, in Fara Sabina (Italy), is now in its 16th edition.

Twelve days of workshops, shows and dialogues about the creative exchange between different cultures of performance.

This year the comparison will take place between artists from Japan, India, Iran, Denmark, USA and Italy, which will give the festival their own contribution through the sharing of their personal theatrical experience.

From 22nd June to 3th July, at Teatro Potlach, directed by Pino Di Buduo, international pedagogues will conduct workshops on directing and on the core elements of the actor's  stage presence in Eastern and Western cultures.

Workshop on directing “Pratical training on the development of the mounting”
with Eugenio Barba e Julia Varley (Denmark)

 

Workshop on “Kamigata-mai dance in the Japanese tradition”
with Keiin Yoshimura (Japan)

Workshop on “Song, dance and narrative techniques in the Indian tradition”
with Parvathy Baul (India)

Workshop on “Masks and characters in Commedia dell’Arte”
With Claudio De Maglio (Italy)

Workshop on "The art that transforms the urban environment"
On building Invisible Cities, which will end with the show Invisible Cities in Fara
Sabina on 2 and 3 July. With Pino Di Buduo (Italy) and Agnese Giglia (Italy).

 

AND THEN

Every morning yoga with the Masters guests and vocal and physical and vocal training with Teatro Potlach

Every afternoon meetings with hosted masters and director, and theater experts; presentations and work demonstrations; workshop on the construction of "Invisible Cities"; workshop “Building a fight” with Meredith Larson (Minnesota – USA).

Every night at 21:00 a show of: Teatro Potlach (Italia), Hope Theater Company (Minnesota – USA / Iran), Touchstone Theater (Pennsylvania – USA), AtticRep (Texas – USA), Keiin Yoshimura (Japan), Parvathy Baul (India)…
