New album WAR CORRESPONDENTS is out!

Dear Friends,

I'm so excited to be able to announce a midsummer release ... the third of 2025 ...

WAR CORRESPONDENTS, the album, is now out on Bandcamp.

This album has 23 songs, all inspired by interviews that creative collaborator Miriam Nabarro and I did with courageous and brilliant journalists working in conflict zones. 

Themes are: why they do it, their goals, the dangers, what they take with them, leaving home, PTSD, the impact of their work, censorship and more. HUGE gratitude to them all. I can't write that huge big enough to convey my gratitude and admiration. Full credits in the album. 

And 6 of the songs have lyrics by poets from across the world who also speak so powerfully about the experience and aftermath of conflict.

This song cycle was the ground for our Helen Chadwick Song Theatre performance of the same name which was co-directed and choreographed by Steven Hoggett. Full show credits on the album too.
