Teachers

Iben Nagel Rasmussen Legendary actress of OdinTeatret (directed by Eugenio Barba) since 1966. Pedagogue, director and author. She has founded and directed Vindenes Bro (The Bridge of the Winds) since 1989, a pedagogical and research project. She is the author of the book El caballo Ciego (among others).

Sandra Pasini is a director, actress, musician and educator. Artistic director of Teatret OM (Denmark). Co-founder of Teatret OM in 1989. Disciple of Iben Nagel Rasmussen and since 1993 member of the international group “Vindenes Bro”, directed by Iben. Sandra was born and raised in Italy and lives in Denmark since 1996 (Italy - Denmark).

Antonella Diana is a set and costume designer, visual artist and graphic designer. She is in charge of the Scenographic Laboratory of Teatret OM (Denmark). Qi Gong and Taichichuan instructor. Co-founder of Teatret OM in 1989. Since 1993 she is a member of the international group “Vindenes Bro”, directed by Iben Nagel Rasmussen. Antonella was born and raised in Italy and lives in Denmark since 1996 (Italy - Denmark).

Ana Woolf is an actress, director and pedagogue. She founded LAT (Laboratorio de Antropología Teatral) and CATA (Centro de Antropología Teatral en Argentina). She is the only Argentinean member of the pedagogical artistic staff of ISTA (International School of Theatrical Anthropology, directed by Eugenio Barba), international collaborator of OT (Odin Teatret) and OTA (Odin Teatret Archives) (Argentina).

Alejandra Tillar is a dancer, choreographer and teacher from Mendoza, with years of experience in the general coordination of dancers of the National Harvest Festival and the Dance Area of the Secretariat of Culture of the province of Mendoza.

Gary Aranda Escalante is a storyteller and musician of the Andean oral tradition, he likes to play, sing and dance (Peru).

The residency has the cultural linguistic mediation in Lengua de Señas Argentina (LSA) by Natalia Tesone.

The payment includes:

• the work to be done with the teachers on those days from 6:00 a.m. until late in the evening
• lodging
• food (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner)
• work demonstrations/performances to be held at the Residence's headquarters

CAMPING TRANS-MISSION is a theoretical-practical residency on psycho-physical techniques of the actor/dancer and the use of the voice in terms of action and dramaturgy. The practical and theoretical basis of CATA is based on the principles of Theatrical Anthropology, studied and theorized by Eugenio Barba (Odin Teatret, Denmark) in the sessions of the ISTA (International School of Theatrical Anthropology since the 1970s).

The work in the Residency takes place from early morning until late at night, accompanied by spaces for reflection which, in this FOURTH session, will focus on the experiences of the teachers. The residency is aimed at actors, dancers, singers, members of Third Theater groups, students and university researchers and teachers, anthropologists, sociologists, cultural managers and people interested in this experience.

The theoretical-practical work is complemented with film screenings on group theater and performative activism.
