I was born and brought up in Scotland, where I live, near Edinburgh. I trained at the Royal Scadey of Dramatic Art, London, where I won the Vanbrugh Award. I’ve worked for over thirty years as actor/writer/director in theatre, radio, TV, film and opera throughout Britain and abroad. My poetry and prose have been published widely, and in 2008 she was awarded a Scottish Arts Council Writer’s Bursary. My play Federer versus Murray, was shortlisted for the 2010 London Fringe Theatre Writing Awards, and was runner up for Best Scottish Contribution to Drama on the Edinburgh Fringe, 2011.

Desde de 2006 moro em Ribeirão Preto e atualmente participo da Cia Nuvem da Noite, sou professora e coordeno o curso de iniciação teatral oferecido pela Instituição Ribeirão EM Cena. O curso de iniciação teatral para jovens e adultos de Ribeirão Preto dura dois anos e é gratuito.

Finishing my studies in theatre directing this october. Also studied theatre costume and fashion design, and have done some costume design for TV, some installation art, so I'm trying to apply all of my interests in my theatre projects. I've done some theatre of the oppressed joker trainings, and would like to do start up some projects related to it in my country. Also I'm very interested in experimenting with physical theatre and sensorial theatre.

I am a creator/performer of solo physical theatre and comedy currently performing a show called A Life In Her Day. It's an almost wordless physical comedy show about a lifetime in a day in an hour created out of every day objects using clown, mime, puppetry and theatre. I also write and perform short comic scenes in Variety theatres. I teach clown, physical comedy and movement theatre.

Goghi&Goghi is an artistic collective project born by the ideas of Mara Pieri, actress and performer, and Ila Covolan, writer and photographer. Goghi&Goghi work on several artistic projects aiming at fusing different artistic languages: in particular, it focuses on performances, videos, installation and theatrical plays that explore sickness, dystopia, gender and LGBTQ* issues, through the lens of intersectionality and a feminist approach.

I started acting, learning from the process of letting the self be in a play through a character. Through the  music, I have wanted to find my voice in theater. I play guitar not professionally, but it has been an incredible partner in this journey.

Today ASHTAR is a group of professional female and male actors and directors, who use theatre beyond its artistic means to create social change in our society. ASHTAR’s work is spread out in Palestine and internationally. Working with youth and women, focusing on human rights issues.

I am a PhD researcher on performance art in Balkans and works as an actress & director. She has presented many performances in festivals in Greece, Italy, Germany, Bosnia&Herzegovina etc.There are two main goals in her artwork: intimacy and tenderness. With everyday materials and texts from various contexts she tries to build a world where people will not feel persecuted, a world of security and trust. She draws her inspiration from lived experiences, her own or others'.

Ira Blazejewska is a Munich-born artist and curator working in the field of performance / song / sculpture / painting and staged total art spaces and cultural events.

Studied music and painting since early childhood.

After training in music and dance, she studied voice and musicology, while studying performed Chanson / Song programmes, founded a Klezmer band, and had two children.
