6. Solution

At last
the Sultan sent for Gul-baba
who had been thinking
while he sat in the dungeon.
When the Sultan told him
about the dying garden,
Gul-baba made a proposal:
every morning
after the Sultan had enjoyed his bath,
Gul-baba would take the soapy water
and use it to water the garden.

The Sultan agreed
and soon everything was growing again
and the Sultan
worked alongside Gul-baba tending the plants.
