Reflections from previous Summer Intensive participants:
"The thing that I loved about the farm was that they believed that everyone had the power to create...it didn't matter what age you were, the group didn't consist of only actors; this led me to realize that the ability to make art is not restricted to a few great minds. It lies in all of us, if we can get through the layers that cover it. In a field where people continually say, 'you can't,' I found it revitalizing to have a company of performers telling me whole-heartedly that I could." - Richelle Meiss, '07
"Your training has a magical way of making the impossible accessible. I was humbled, focused, and inspired here. It turned my world upside-down. Thank you." - Rose McCaslin, '06
"The most interesting part of the program was the unknown - and the whole three weeks as an ever-growing process of moving within and toward the 'impossible,' fully supported by the double edge ensemble in a really genuine way...I recommend the program to those who want to discover their most malleable self and are willing and excited to walk with their greatest fears." - Mo Mulderig, '07 |
