The Dybbuk
This production, of Julia Pascal's Dybbuk has toured Europe to great acclaim and makes its US debut at New York's Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival August 10-25.
Using the framework of the famous East European legend, Pascal's Dybbuk is a modern dream play, using music, text, and movement to explore why we still tell one another stories even in the moments leading up to death.
The work is an act of resistance and a celebration of the cultures that refuse to die.

Pascal's Dybbuk has a raw and unforced reality that is grief- sricken as well as proud The Sunday Times
Pascal's simple, cleverly-designed and movingly acted production is a genuinely creative work which boasts a final sequence as spine-tingling as anything you'll see in the theatre this year The Independent.
