Hello,
I have recently returned from touring in Europe and the UK with my visual-theatre performance 2 Dimensional Life of her. The tour was a great success! The show was met with rave reviews and an over whemlingly positive response from the crowds!
From the 12th August- 18th of September I will be touring with the show again, but this time around Australia as a part of Performing Lines 'mobile states' national touring initiative.
2 Dimensional Life of Her will be performed at ARTS HOUSE in MELBOURNE, POWERHOUSE in BRISBANE, PICA in PERTH, PEACOCK THEATRE in HOBART and then returning to Melbourne for a second season at ARTPLAY. There will also be a season at the NOORDERZON festival in the NETHERLANDS in the middle of all this.
FULL DETAILS AND BOOKING INFORMATION is available on the 'upcoming shows' page on my website www.fleurelisenoble.com
I really hope you'll have the opportunity to see this work- it is a project that I spent the past 3 years developing, and it is something that I am truely proud of. Any help to spread the work amongst your networks is also very much appreciated!
Best wishes
Fleur
Fleur Elise Noble
2 Dimensional Life of Her is a visual performance made of drawing, animation, puppetry, projection and paper.
Set in an artist's studio, a richly imagined parallel world is awoken where everything that was thought to be still or flat becomes something else. Drawings reproduce themselves, drift between surfaces and move in and out of three dimensions. An artist looses control of her creations and absolutely anything becomes possible.
You will be immersed in a world made of floor to ceiling projections, mesmerizing animations and walls that simply peel away. Standing at the centre of this work of light and shadows, your sense of reality will be teased and blurred.
"This astoundingly full bodied performance would be the talking point of any festival... Noble not only deconstructs her art, she shreds, incinerates and rebuilds it, milking the full potential of today's multi-media technology like an Andy Warhol for a new era." THE ADVERTISER, ADELAIDE
“Brilliant, Provocative... Stunning” THE HERALD, SCOTLAND
“I have never seen anything like it... Truly outstanding” DB MAGAZINE, ADELAIDE
This show is 98% visual, goes for 40 minutes and is suitable for the whole family!
