The VIII Iberoamerican Women of Scenic Art Meeting, titled "Poetic of the Scene", and coordinated by Margarita Borja and Diana Raznovich, was held from 20-24 October 2004 in Cádiz, in the context of the Iberoamerican Theatre Festival directed by José Bablé. The Meeting was supported by Instituto de la Mujer, Fundación Autor and Fit in collaboration with Fundación Municipal de la Mujer, Town hall of Cadiz.

During the festival a meeting was held with Jill Greenhalgh at which Marga Morja recieved the responsibility to direct a Magdalena Festival in Spain, and the group pictured above was formed to support its organisation.
